چکیده

We disclose the effects of an extra longitudinal degree freedom on evolution perturbations in framework mimetic gravity. consider a flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker background and explore linear by adopting spherically symmetric collapse formalism. By suitably choosing potential field, we are able to solve perturbed field equations regime derive matter density contrast ${\ensuremath{\delta}}_{m}$ terms redshift parameter $z$. observe that starts growing at early stages and, as Universe expands, it grows faster compared standard cosmology. This may due gravitational which affects growth perturbations. presence potential, rate function is smaller than $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}\mathrm{CDM}$ model small redshifts. then this abundance, deceleration jerk parameter. find out can play role dark energy (DE) dynamics cosmological parameters. also investigate mass number count for collapsed objects scenario. models with without potential. With decreasing DE, grow redshifts; i.e., halo abundance formed later. It found more massive structures less abundant form later times, should be hierarchical structure formation.

Structure formation and generalized second law of thermodynamics in some viable f(R)-gravity models

We investigate the growth of matter density perturbations as well as the generalized second law (GSL) of thermodynamics in the framework of f(R)-gravity. We consider a spatially flat FRW universe filled with the pressureless matter and radiation which is enclosed by the dynamical apparent horizon with the Hawking temperature. For some viable f(R) models containing the Starobinsky, Hu-Sawicki, Exp...

Black hole solutions in mimetic Born-Infeld gravity

The vacuum, static, and spherically symmetric solutions in the mimetic Born-Infeld gravity are studied. The mimetic Born-Infeld gravity is a reformulation of the Eddington-inspired-Born-Infeld (EiBI) model under the mimetic approach. Due to the mimetic field, the theory contains non-trivial vacuum solutions different from those in Einstein gravity. We find that with the existence of the mimetic...

Gravity, Turbulence, and Star Formation

The azimuthal power spectra of optical emission from star formation and dust in spiral galaxies resembles the azimuthal power spectra of HI emission from the LMC. These and other power spectra of whole galaxies all resemble that of velocity in incompressible Kolmogorov turbulence. The reasons for this are unknown but it could be simply that star and cloud formation are the result of a mixture o...
